4DOF pick & place robot arm that can move itself and carry a picked object


naminukas - pneumatic walking and driving robot has vacuum suction cups on both of its feet. Using one of foot to hold on the floor allows to use another foot to pick objects, effectively allowing the robot to act as 4 degrees of freedom pick and place arm. As it was demonstrated in previous videos robot can tilt vacuum suction cups in order to transform from walking to 2 wheel balancing mode. In this video robot demonstrates how it can tilt only one cup at a time in order to carry a picked payload while driving:
